Keep an eye out for colourful, eye-catching creator Taryn de Vere as she roams the grounds of Merrion Square Park, ready to delight, inspire and enthrall! This walking, talking, living art installation will see the artist dress up in a colourful outfit that redefines the idea of ‘wordplay’. When you meet her, you’ll be invited to tear a strip off her coat of many colours and see what words of wisdom are on the other side!
This uplifting, inspiring project aims to encourage anyone with a sense of fun and curiosity to interact with words in a whole new way. These mini-messages are sure to make you smile and spark your imagination.
Take What You Need will run from in the Festival Village from 11:00 – 15:00.
Taryn de Vere is a performance artist, fashion activist, TEDx speaker, award winning curator, freelance journalist, published poet, and author. Several of her designs are in the collection of the National Museum of Ireland
