Do you have a story to share, a joke to tell, or a poem to perform? Join poet and lyricist Michael Cullen for an evening of connection, communication, and your chance to speak your truth out loud. Seanchoíche is an opportunity to unpack, to gain some closure, to feel something magical in the company of others. Together we can laugh it out, cry it out, and talk it out.
Seanchoíche is a safe space for ordinary people to share their extraordinary stories. Through poetry, comedy, spoken word, or storytelling, this event is full of empathy, catharsis, laughter, tears and joy. Whether it’s your first time ever speaking in front of a crowd or you’re a veteran performer, Seanchoíche is an opportunity to stand up and speak from the heart.
Interested in sharing your story?
Around 60% of the people who speak at Seanchoíche have never done something like this before. We believe that everybody has a story to tell. If you’d like to be considered for Seanchoíche at ILFD, fill out the form that will be supplied to you once you have booked your tickets so we can get to know you a bit better. Share a quick summary of what you would like to talk about – it doesn’t have to be very detailed. Just let us know whether it’s an anecdote, a poem, or any other type of story. Then feel free to add any further details you would like to share, and we will be in touch.
