Early years children and their grown ups are invited to discover and delight in this multi-sensory sound installation that encourages curiosity and introduces your little one to a wide world of space, sound, movement and sculpture that’s made with them and for them.
In this free-form gentle play session, your curious kiddo will discover the basics of cause and effect – as they play, poke, peer or push the elements of each sculptural piece, they’ll be amazed by the myriad of sounds they can produce. Sculptunes was created by early years artist and inventor Helen Barry and she is supported by the National Concert Hall to develop Sculptunes and sound works for very young audiences.
Helen Barry is a visual artist, inventor, early years arts practitioner and classically trained dancer.
Presented in partnership with Urban95 and the Hugh Lane Gallery.
