Have you ever wanted to travel back in time? Great news! Author Úna Woods comes to ILFD to take you on an adventure through Dublin in the 1900s with her new book A Blooming Great Day.

Students will follow along as Rosie and her grandad are transported to 1904 and the very first Bloomsday, encountering a cast of fanciful characters along the way. Learn about James Joyce, Leopold Bloom, and what Dublin was really like in the olden days.

Úna Woods is a children’s book illustrator and author whose previous books include Have You Seen the Dublin Vampire? and A Spooktacular Place to Be, both published by The O’Brien Press.
