Poet, Instagram star and model Yrsa Daley-Ward’s raw and unrelenting new poetry collection Bone flew out of her in three months. Bone ranges from brief glimpses of stark emotional reality to autobiographical poems that delve deep into her Afro-Caribbean heritage, religious upbringing, mental health battles, and sexuality. Of Jamaican and Nigerian heritage, she was born in London and raised by her Seventh-day Adventist grandparents in Lancashire. She presents her new memoir The Terrible, interspersed with poems at this event.
The event will be chaired by journalist and broadcaster Nadine O'Regan.
