Improv for Writers is a workshop for anyone seeking to develop their ability to maintain the flow of their ideas when they write.
The beauty of improv is that it gives us exercises for overcoming our fears and finding our natural mental flow, which, for writers, means that we stop second-guessing ourselves, develop our confidence, and give writer’s block a sound kick in the patootie.
The workshop will be facilitated by British-American improvisational comedian and writer Alison Jean Lester, author of the novels Lillian on Life (2015) and Yuki Means Happiness (2017).
