Celebrated picture book creator Mary Murphy introduces the first book in a brand new early readers series, The Minute Minders, which pulls back the curtain on the hidden world of the fidders – tiny people who are always around to lend a helping hand to us humans.

Stevie Clipper, a pocket-sized people protector known as a fidder, isn’t supposed to make friends with the humans he protects; but when one of them gets into big trouble, it’s up to this miniature minder to swoop in and save the day.

Pupils will love being swept away into the whimsical world of the fidders and the people they keep a close eye on.

Mary Murphy is an author-illustrator of over 40 books for young children whose work has also been adapted for TV. The Minute Minders is her first novel.
