Author Leona Forde and illustrator Karen Harte share their hilarious new story as we think about the planet and what we can do to save it from chaos and calamity.

Leona Forde is an English and History teacher from Co. Cork, and Milly’s antics mark her debut novel. Readers will be delighted to hear that she’s already writing a sequel, Milly McCarthy and the Irish Dancing Disaster!

Karen Harte is an illustrator, comic creator, and visual designer, hailing from Dublin. Her portfolio includes work for Positive Period Ireland, Girl Rock Dublin, Fighting Words, the Dublin Feminist Film Festival, and more. Play in the form of visual storytelling is at the heart of what she does, as is the art of finding joy in the everyday.
