A specially commissioned series by District Magazine.

MESSAGES is a series of spoken word pieces from a selection of artists who represent modernity in our capital.

Directed by Gar O’Rourke and produced by Studio District, MESSAGES was created to provide the ILFDublin’s international audience with a realistic insight into contemporary Ireland at a time when travel here is impossible. These short films will be shown as an opening act to a selection of events in the WriteNow strand of the 2021 programme; book in to any WriteNow event for a chance to see one of these specially commissioned performances.
