John Agard is a Guyanese playwright, poet and children’s writer, now living in the UK. In 2012, he was selected for the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry and in 2021 was awarded BookTrust’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
JonArno Lawson is a four-time winner of the Lion and Unicorn Award for Excellence in North American Children’s Poetry. As a nonsense poet, Lawson’s poems feature clever rhymes, whimsical images, and wordplay.
