On Tuesday 21 May, actor Lára Boyce reads from Colm Tóibín’s Long Island, the much-anticipated follow up to prize-winning novel Brooklyn. This stunning sequel sees protagonist Eilis turn back to Ireland once more in a story full of longing, reconnection, and the joy of love rediscovered.

Lára Boyce is a student at the Gaiety School of Acting, class of 2024. She grew up in rural Iceland where her love of acting was sparked as a teenager. Prior to studying in Dublin she was involved in a number of amateur theatre productions and is passionate about writing poetry and short stories.
