Take a journey across the cultural landscape in an evening of celebrity readings of translated work by some of the finest European authors. Crossing political and literary borders, this trail features Anne Doyle, Mary Kennedy, Lisa Lambe, Geraldine Plunkett and Johnny Ward, in a range of beautiful venues. Also reading is award-winning British journalist and author Elizabeth Day, whose recent novel The Party, is a compelling literary thriller dealing with lifelong obsessions, jealousies and neuroses.
Includes: National Library of Ireland, Royal College of Physicians, Alliance Francaise, National Gallery of Ireland, Instituto Cervantes and Literature Ireland’s home on Fenian Street. First reading at each venue starts at 6:30pm, the last at 9:00pm. Readings are 15 minutes each, repeated on the hour and the half hour.
