A wonderful celebration of words and music! A new choral commission by composer Sean Doherty focuses on four poems from Geomantic, the new anthology from Paula Meehan, self-described ‘Dublin bolshie woman’. Hosted by poet, playwright and presenter Vincent Woods, the event brings together Paula Meehan, two new writers Ron Carey and Fergus Cronin, and three Dublin choir groups; Forever Young, St Patrick's Junior Choir and Laetare. Vincent Woods and Eva Bourke read from their new anthology Fermata, and Bealtaine 2017 Dancer in Residence Mary Nunan performs The Movement with writer Claire-Louise Bennett.
