Barroux is a brilliant artist from France who is passionate about the sea and everything that lives in it! We all know that plastic is a problem in our world’s oceans – but what can we do about it? Every single person can do a little something that can make a big difference!

Barroux tells a beautiful story in his latest picture book – a story all about friendship and caring for each other. The blue of the sea is the blue of the love we can show for each other and the world.

Join him as he presents I Love You, Blue and have the opportunity to create some of your own artworks inspired by the creatures and characters of the books.

Barroux’s books include Line of Fire, Alpha and Hello! A Counting Book of Kindness. He won the 2005 Prix Enfantasie, the PEN award and the Prix Médecins Sans Frontières in 2015. While working as an art director in Montreal, Barroux began creating linocut images. This paved the way for his career as a children’s book illustrator.
