Technically, Edel Coffey and Sarah Crossan are first-time writers. The former has just released her debut novel, Breaking Point. The latter has just penned a book for adults, This is the Beehive. But both women have already crafted enviable creative careers for themselves, Edel as a journalist and Sarah as a writer for children and young adults. There’s no such thing as beginner’s luck here. Join them for a conversation about branching out, psychological drama, and the power of the written word. 

Edel Coffey is an Irish broadcaster and journalist based in Galway. Breaking Point is her debut novel.

Sarah Crossan is a Dublin-born writer based in the UK. She is a former Laurerate na nÓg and has written extensively for children and young adults. Here is the Beehive is her first novel for adults.
