The Literary Village in Merrion Square is really the place to be – whether you find yourself wandering in during the evening, soaking up the the cultural atmosphere you’re or spending a whole week exploring all we have on offer, there’s simply so much to see and do, in this beautiful space in the heart of the city. It’s the perfect place to discover something new, to let words light a fire in you, and to feel the music carry you away.
This is exactly why District DJs and friends are coming together in Merrion Square for an evening celebrating the best homegrown music District Magazine has had the pleasure of listening to and championing over the last two years. Bella Festa, a lockdown project formed by Aidan Thompson and David Diamond that brings all things Italo Disco, Synth Pop, and Cosmic together will help you find those good vibes, in what promises to be an unforgettable soirée in the shade of the summer trees.
Bella Festa are Aidan Thompson and David Diamond, Dublin-based DJs and producers who have been hosting some infamous parties over the last year in such eclectic venues as Tengu, Wigam and Hang Dai Chinese. The guys are known for their unique and glorious selections of oddball dance music, with more than a few guilty pleasures thrown in. They’ve played sessions in Geneva, Berlin, and Heidelberg, and will be bringing their dynamic brand of energy to Body & Soul this summer.
