Seán Ronayne is an ornithologist, wildlife sound-recordist, writer and activist whose mission is to sound record all regularly occurring bird species in Ireland. Struggling to fit in as a child, escaped to the woods and coastlines around his home in Cork and discovered his true passion – identifying and understanding birds through their sound and song. At the age of thirty-two, Seán received an autism diagnosis and his life finally started to make sense.
