The Summer I Robbed a Bank is the new and super-hilarious heist adventure by author and comedian David O’Doherty, illustrated by Chris Judge. David  had always wanted to write a book with his long-time friend Chris, but it took him a while to pluck up the courage to ask. Their first collaboration became the hugely popular Danger is Everywhere and now they’re back with a new madcap adventure set on a remote island! 

Chris is an illustrator, artist and children’s picture book author, whose very first picture book The Lonely Beast went on to become Supersavers Irish Children’s Book of the Year. David is a stand-up comedian, writer and regular guest on television shows such as Have I Got News For You and Would I Lie To You? He has written two theatre shows for children, including one where he fixed bicycles live on stage.
