Three wonderful poets Joseph Coelho, Valerie Bloom and Matt Goodfellow talk about poetry, performance, best friends, and how poems can help you deal with life!
How many poets could you fit in your pocket?
ILFDublin is proud to bring not one but three wonderful poets together for this special event. Joseph Coelho, Valerie Bloom and Matt Goodfellow talk about poetry, performance, best friends, and how poems can help you deal with life!
Read about friends, families, making pancakes, and discover a river dolphin among many other delights in Stars with Flaming Tails, Valerie Bloom’s funny, thoughtful and perceptive new collection. Award-winning performance poet and playwright Joseph Coelho’s earliest memory of writing a poem was about a performing bear. Always a hit with young audiences, he has been writing and performing since his first collection Werewolf Club Rules in 2014. Children love Matt’s collection Chicken on the Roof. In his latest book Being Me, Matt teamed up with poets Laura Mucha and Liz Brownlee to create a collection of poems dealing with worries and anxieties and find ways to develop empathy and mindfulness.
