The history of modern Irish literature is a history of a people in a rapidly changing country finding their voice. Come on a tour through Dublin City Centre and learn about some of Ireland’s most revered writers, their pathfinding works and their exciting and sometimes scandalous lives.

The tour will be hosted by Seán Egan, a researcher and tour guide from Dublin. His love for Irish literature was sparked when his parents gave him a copy of Bram Stoker’s Dracula at a formative age. He barely slept for a week. He gives tours about a wide array of topics including Irish Art and gay history.
