Join Feebee Foran of forager.ie for a nature adventure in the heart of Dublin city. We’ll take a leisurely stroll through Merrion Square Park, learning to forage and identify the wild Irish herbs that call the city home. We’ll discover and honour the native flora that peek out of cracks in the pavement, that are hiding around corners and tucked away in our beautiful parks. After working up an appetite on our stroll, we will tuck into a delicious lunch including wild foraged herbs and plants, giving you a taste of what grows in abundance in every nook and cranny of Dublin.
After the walk, Laura Teegan of Teegan’s Treats will provide foragers with a packed lunch, incorporating commonly foraged ingredients, such as nettle frittata, wild greens salad, and cleaver crackers, as well as a foraged leaf tea or refreshing cordial.
Come along and be revived by nature in the heart of the city!
