The translator of more than 60 book-length works of Dutch-language literature, his many prizes include the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize and PEN Translation Prize. He discusses the translation process and the paths to developing a career in the world of literary translation with award-winning French language translator, Sarah Ardizzone. With more than forty titles to her name, her work spans picture books, graphic novels and travel memoirs as well as children’s, young adult and literary fiction.
