Child Policy
The welfare of all children attending ILFDublin events is paramount. Our aim is to ensure that all audience members enjoy their festival experience, and are safe from harm at all times.
We are committed to a child-centred approach in our work with children and young people. We undertake to provide a safe environment and experience, where the welfare of the child/young person is paramount. We adhere to the recommendations of Children First: National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children (2017), published by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs, and our procedures to safeguard and protect children and young people reflect national policy and legislation. These principles apply to everyone in our organisation.
