How can place and setting influence character and build a story? Beginner-level writers are invited to explore how using what we have around us - place - can enhance our storytelling.
Participants in this unique writing workshop will embark on a promenade through an outdoor space before a series of writing exercises, meditating on what the breathing space of a city can tell us about the inner life of our literary creations.
The workshop will be led by London-based Jenneba Sie-Jalloh, a writer with strong ties to Ireland and Sierra Leone, who facilitates workshops at the British Library.
