Celebrate the publication of The Italian Riveter magazine by joining us for a series of live ‘riveting readings’ by lovers of Italian prose and poetry. Your host is The Riveter’s Editor-in-Chief and Director of the European Literature Network, Rosie Goldsmith. Italian literature is riding high across Europe, not only due to the success of Elena Ferrante but to the emergence of a host of engaging and immersive writers, as well as the growing visibility of translators. The Italian Riveter reflects these exciting developments with extracts, interviews, features, and reviews. It is the tenth magazine of European literature in translation from the European Literature Network, and is made possible thanks to the joint funding of the Italian Cultural Institutes of Dublin, London, and Edinburgh.
Your host is The Riveter’s Editor-in-Chief and Director of the European Literature Network, Rosie Goldsmith, and she’ll be joined for readings and conversation by Andrea Bergantino, Catherine Dunne, Enrica Maria Ferrara, Mia Gallagher, Liz McManus and Giuliana Zeuli.
