Join us in the noontide light for a spoken word event, courtesy of one of Dublin’s most exciting spoken word artists. Dagogo Hart’s poetry is informed and inspired by his hometown of Lagos in Nigeria, and his experiences since coming to live in Ireland. Evocative and challenging, his work asks us to explore the ways we think about ourselves and each other. In the centre of the city, surrounded by voices and music, his words will rise above, taking your soul away with them.

Dagogo Hart is a Dublin-based poet, writer, and spoken word artist. In 2016, he won the Slam Sunday Grand Slam and became an All-Ireland Poetry Slam finalist. Since then, he has performed at festivals such as Electric Picnic, St. Patrick’s Festival, Dublin Fringe, the Drogheda Literary Festival, Cuirt International Poetry Festival, and First Fortnight. He is one-third of the collective WeAreGriot, a poetry collective that curates art events around poetry.
