Members of Dublin City Libraries Writers’ Groups in conjunction with UNESCO Writer-in-Residence E.M. Reapy presents a night of new flash fiction and music inspired by the city. This event will be pacey, varied and will include original new stories of less than 300 words by Dublin city writers currently participating in workshops facilitated by Reapy and fellow writer-in-residence Declan Burke.
Light refreshments will be served from 18:00
Elizabeth Reapy is a multi-award winning Irish writer and tutor. Her debut novel ‘Red Dirt’ was published by Head of Zeus in 2016. She was the founder of Shore Writers’ Festival and editor of literary journal ‘Wordlegs’.
As part of the ‘Culture and Creativity’ plan under the Creative Ireland Programme, the UNESCO Writers in Residence programme allows time for the selected writers to develop their own work in addition to engaging and interacting with the general public and, more specifically, with groups attached to Dublin City Public Library branches across the city.
