We are so pleased to welcome the New York Times bestselling author Elizabeth Gilbert to Dublin for what is sure to be a very special Off the Page event!

Her 2006 memoir Eat Pray Love, a chronicle of her journey alone around the world looking for solace after a difficult divorce, became a multi-million international bestseller and was made into a film starring Julia Roberts.

City of Girls, Elizabeth Gilbert’s new novel, is a glittering coming-of-age epic, stitched across the fabric of 1940s New York. It’s a delicious story of glamour, sex and self-discovery, in which a young woman learns that you don’t have to be a good girl to be a good person.

The event will be chaired by writer and critic Anna Carey.
