The grassroots movement celebrating poets, musicians, storytellers, and the creative voices of Dublin – and beyond – comes to ILFD for one night only.
Dublin’s Finest is a community-driven night run by artists, for artists. All proceeds from the door go directly to the performers, supporting local and emerging talent. Co-led by host James William Dillon (Jimbo) and Creative Director Julie O’Brien, the night was founded in 2022 by poet Emmet O’Brien.
Our mission is simple: To create space for up-and-coming poets and performers to be heard — and paid.
Jimbo is a spoken word artist known for his powerful presence and relatable storytelling. A familiar face on the open mic scene and the 2022 Fingal Poetry Slam champion and author of Jazz Poetry. His mission? Make Ireland Grand Again.
Julie also known as “Pizza Egg” is a graphic designer, artist and photographer with Flux Dublin.
