Owen O’Doherty: Bright Sparks

Covering fields of science, technology and design, Bright Sparks is a book for children about innovation told through the stories of fifty things discovered, invented or designed by women. This reading for adults will include discussion about the origins of the book, untold stories and communicating innovation. During the event DJ, writer and lawyer Kate Butler will be revealing the untold story of ground breaking electronic music by women, playing selections from this hidden history. By day Owen O’Doherty is an architect with Dublin City Council. 

Associated with this reading he will be holding a children’s workshop at Party in the Park on Sunday 26 May.
