Samuel Beckett: a man for whom there are no words, and all the words. ILFDublin is proud to host a rare opportunity to experience the poems of Samuel Beckett in a sparse, true and compelling theatrical presentation.
Beckett | Poems is conceived and directed by Alan Gilsenan, the Irish writer, filmmaker and theatre director whose previous Beckett work includes Footfalls at the Gate Theatre and London’s Barbican Centre, and an acclaimed film of Eh Joe. It is performed by well-known character actor Tom Hickey; Justine Cooper; and Brenda McSweeney, who also featured in Alan Gilsenan’s powerful film drama The Meeting.
